Overview

This trip pairs the temples of the Nile valley with a few days on the Red Sea coast. It starts with three nights in Cairo, enough time for Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar without rushing.

You then fly to Luxor and board your boat for four nights to Aswan, stopping at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu and Kom Ombo. From Aswan you make the trip to Abu Simbel.

The last stretch is in Hurghada on the Red Sea. You spend a day on a boat snorkelling around the Giftun Islands, with free time on the beach before your flight home.
