Overview
The Giftun Islands lie off the coast of Hurghada and are part of a protected marine area. The boat leaves the marina in the morning and reaches the first reefs in about 45 minutes.
You make two snorkel stops with equipment provided and an instructor in the water. Lunch is served on board in between. In the afternoon the boat anchors near an island beach so you can spend time on the sand before heading back.
No experience is needed: the instructor explains how to use the mask and fins, and life jackets are available. Entry to the marine park has a fee paid separately [verify].
